Ingleburn Baptist Church was established in 1911 and has enjoyed a rich history of serving the church family, our local community and reaching out into global ministry.

As Ingleburn has changed in lifestyle and ever broadening ethnic groups, we have sought to minister in new and purposeful way by proclaiming the unchanging good news: Jesus died and rose again to set us free from sin and live to glorify God through the power of the Holy Spirit.

As a church, we want to introduce people to the life that Jesus offers: one of transformation and redemption. Our church is a place where you are accepted – whoever, whatever, wherever you’ve been. We focus on glorifying God by bringing people from our community to connect with Christ in a meaningful, life-changing way.

We connect to Christ in our Church Services, we grow together in our LifeGroups, and we train people to know their God given gifts & empower them to serve in our Ministry Teams. Please visit our Ministry page or contact us for more information.

Senior Pastor

Rev. Steve Rodda

Steve has been a pastor for almost 20 years. He is enthusiastic about the church and serving our local community in the way that Jesus did. While we all have different experiences in life, God still cares for us. Steve preaches that we can return to a life of peace, hope and joy when we are introduced to Jesus and his way of wholeness for individual lives and the life of our community.

Youth and Young Adults Worker

Jo Irwin

Jo is studying a Masters of Ministry at Morling College. She has been appointed at IBC to encourage, train and equip our young adults and teens in their relationship with Jesus and involvement in His mission. Jo leads our Evening Service Team, facilitates our Young Adults ministry and coordinates our Youth Ministry on Friday nights.

Our Morning Congregation

We believe God wants to meet with all of us, no matter what our background or age. We pray, sing, study the Bible, laugh and cry together and we want you to know that whether you are seeking God or have known him for a lifetime, there is a place for you here, because God always has a place for you.

Night Church

Sunday night is relaxed and relational. Meeting in the 100-year-old chapel on site, we informally celebrate God’s eagerness to change our lives and our world. We are more interactive and informal than the morning congregation and our young adults get together afterwards.

Our Leadership Team

Our Elders and Deacons serve our Church Congregation and work with the Pastoral Team to empower the Church in its mission to grow people in their apprenticeship to Jesus.

Kids Church

Sunday mornings means kids get to learn about how God has given them a life to grow into and enjoy by learning and living his good instructions. Children stay with their parents for the first section of the service, and then join the PULSE team in the side hall.
