Our Ministries

Sunshiners Playgroup – Joanne Whiddon

Each Tuesday throughout the school term parents and carers, young and old, meet with their children (0-5 years) 10am-12pm; learning and sharing together through stories, fun activities and morning tea.

Pulse is our exciting children’s church held during school term at the same time as our morning service.  They have bible stories, singing, games, craft, and prayer time together. Age 2—12 years

Impact Youth Group – Jo Irwin

Impact is a place where Youth from Year 6 to Year 12 hang out, meet new friends, get involved in crazy activities, and learn what it means to know Jesus in a real life changing way. We meet on Friday nights during school terms at Ingleburn Baptist Church from 7:00pm-9:30pm. The first part of the night we usually have some games, followed by supper and small groups looking at following Jesus in our lives. For more information, please email Jo at ya.youth@ingleburnbaptist.com.au

Girls Brigade – Trudie Wilson

Girls Brigade provides the ideal environment for girls to grow.

Brigade offers fun, exciting and age appropriate programs for girls aged 6-18.  Girls will enjoy being part of Brigade where they will learn new skills, learn about God and make life-long friendships.

Girls Brigade meets at Ingleburn Baptist Church on Tuesday Nights from 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Young Adults – Jo Irwin

Our young adults are always catching up, eating together, growing together, and having fun together as we live in community with one another.

Many of our young adults choose to attend our 6pm service on Sundays to worship God and be challenged, stretched, inspired and encouraged by God’s Word. Each week after the service we then spend time in fellowship together playing board games or a similar activity.

On Mondays between 7:15-9:00pm we meet to study Gods Word, share life and grow relationally with each other.

We also have regular social gatherings and events that happen monthly.

For more information, please email Jo at ya.youth@ingleburnbaptist.com.au

English Learning – Liz Hounslow

On Friday mornings from 10am, those who find English difficult are encouraged to join our English Learning Centre to get to know conversational English for Australian conditions.

Ladies Bible Study – Gwyn Thompson

The Monday morning Ladies Bible Study is held in the “Playgroup” room each week from 10am. Afterwards, those who have the time stay for a cup of tea and a chat!
This Bible study has been going for many years now (in varying forms) and has always been interesting. Although at the moment we are all “seniors”, it hasn’t always been that way and we would be delighted if any younger ladies would like to join us. We meet not just as women from the church to study God’s word but as friends, to study together and to provide support where needed. If you have a problem, there is sure to be someone who has already faced this problem and can help. No criticisms are made and confidences are respected. If you are looking for a study, please feel free to join us.
Share and Care
Run fortnightly on a Thursday from 10am, seniors gather in the lower hall at our church centre for morning tea to encourage each other, to sing some old favourites, be encouraged by God’s word, and participate in games and fundraising activities.  Some weeks include lunch together. All are most welcome to attend.
